flooring products in North America and world-wide.
The flooring products marketed by GMP are done so
under long-term exclusive contracts with
manufacturers. These long-term contracts insure
continuity for GMP's customers and enables GMP to
offer the service, training, and market support that
are vital to the success of all parties. Therefore,
each manufacturer views GMP as their marketing arm
in the countries in which GMP markets their
products. In turn, GMP's customer view GMP as a
direct conduit to the manufacturer. Thereby,
insuring the customers of competitive pricing,
marketing support, and long-term trading partner. |

GMP
is centrally located with a North American
Distribution Center in Memphis, Tennessee (from
which more air cargo is shipped than any city in the
world, therefore Memphis markets itself as America's
Distribution Center due to the access of air, rail,
water, and highway transportation services). This
enables us to provide quick, reliable service on all
the products we market to distributors throughout
North America.

GMP provides a service for manufacturer's outside of
North America by providing centralized inventory, as
well as providing service, training, marketing
support, national advertising, and education on the
products marketed. GMP coordinates the movement of
full containers from manufacturer to our customer
network. Plus, these same customers can have
less-than-container
quantities shipped out of GMP's warehouse or they
can pick-up at GMP's facility in Memphis insuring
they are seldom out of stock. This works very well
for the customers because Tennessee has more wood
flooring manufacturers than any state in the USA.
Therefore, most customers are running trucks within
a few miles of the North American Distribution
Center each week and can easily pick-up a few
pallets.

GMP
is a member of both the National Wood Flooring
Association (NWFA) and the World Floor Covering
Association (WFCA). These associations provide on
going education and training for its members as well
as promoting flooring products throughout North
American. As a recipient of the prestigious PARTNER
IN EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY ADVANCEMENT AWARD in both
1997, 1998 and 1999; GMP is very active in assisting
the NWFA in training and educating people interested
in the Wood Flooring Industry.
GMP participates in several major Trade Shows each
year; the Surfaces Trade Show sponsored by the World
Floor Covering Association and the National Wood
Flooring Association Trade Show. At each Show, GMP
displays products in an island booth format to
improve booth access and to prominently show all
products. This enables our distributors to use the
booth to show products to their customers in a very
professional manner. The booth is used to show our
customers new products and provide a relaxing
atmosphere to hold discussions on creating mutually
profitable future business.

goal is to provide the distributor and dealer a
comprehensive marketing program to present to their
customers. These marketing programs include
professionally designed displays, sales aids, and
product literature. All marketing tools are adapted
to the North American Market with concise American
Language and Measurements.
GMP is committed to adapting our products and
marketing programs to individual distributors and
dealers market. Customizing display programs,
merchandising programs, and promotional programs to
the needs of GMP's Trading Partners accomplishes
this task. In addition, a National Trade
Advertising Program backs all products marketed by
GMP.
